EVERY TIME I DIE'S ANDY WILLIAMS DEBUTS ON ALL ELITE WRESTLING DYNAMITE

Out of all the news that's come out recently, was this something you expected to see? Probably not. But it's happened! For those who aren't in the loop with all things wrestling, Every Time I Die's guitarist Andy Williams has been working the independent circuit for a while with veteran wrestler Pepper Parks (better known as Impact Wrestling's Braxton Sutter) under the team of The Butcher & The Blade.

In a very surprising turn of events, The Butcher & The Blade showed up on this week's episode of Dynamite (All Elite Wrestling's weekly television show, which broadcasts on TNT Drama in the US and ITV 4/ITV Hub in the UK) along with Allie (Pepper Parks's real life spouse) to launch a devastating attack on All Elite Wrestling's EVP Cody Rhodes.

Whilst it's not unknown for rock and metal musicians to be involved in wrestling and even be signed to major promotions (AEW have Fozzy's Chris Jericho as their top champion and Frankie Kazarian dabbles in playing bass for a couple of metal bands, whilst WWE has Junior's Mark Andrews on their books), the inclusion of somebody from a band that has such a huge cult following as Every Time I Die has is unprecedented. Maybe Every Time I Die will play at an AEW event in the future? That would certainly be something very cool to see!

Whilst it's currently unknown whether Andy Williams is under a full time contract with All Elite Wrestling and what his now elevated status in the pro wrestling world will mean for Every Time I Die, it's been one of the most shocking and unexpected news stories of the entire year in the rock & metal world. We're eagerly waiting to see how things will unfold!
