JUNIOR RECRUIT WRESTLING STARS FOR "P.Y.D."

The Cardiff pop punk phenomenon Junior (which features WWE's Mark Andrews) will be releasing their debut album Beautiful Life on August 2nd and for the album's third single "P.Y.D." they decided to call in a few friends from the wonderful and whacky world of pro wrestling to help them out! The song is a wrestling nerd's heaven, featuring references to legendary independent pro wrestling promotions like ECW and PWG, as well as being a realistic yet uplifting insight into what it means to be a journeyman wrestler making your way through the independent circuit

Whilst Junior are no strangers to having appearances and moments from the wrestling world in their videos (the video for "Fall To Pieces" featured a hilarious appearance from Matt Hardy in his 'broken' persona and former The Blackout frontman Sean Smith being put through a table), this video is packed with match footage from various different wrestling promotions and short appearances from wrestlers from all over the place including AEW's hardcore legend Jimmy Havoc, WWE's multiple time 24/7 Champion Drake Maverick, NXT Champion Adam Cole (BAY BAY) and independent performer ELIJAH, who also performs guest vocals on the track (he was previously the lead vocalist of Bristolian hardcore band Heaven Asunder). If you're a wrestling fan (like some of us here at Rockodile are) you'll absolutely love everything about "P.Y.D."!
