MACHINE HEAD ANNOUNCE TWO NEW MEMBERS
It's been a very awesome weekend if you're a fan of the legendary groove metallers! In a huge announcement on Saturday, Robb Flynn announced that Machine Head had gained two new members and were two steps closer to becoming a full band once again. Revealed in two videos posted by the band, the two new members have been revealed as Wacław 'Vogg' Kiełtyka (Decapitated, Lux Occulta) and Matt Alston (Devilment).
Both guys are absolutely fantastic musicians but the announcement of Vogg as their second guitar player is an especially huge addition to the band. Vogg's prowess in coming up with absolutely killer riffs is very well known amongst fans of death metal. We can only hope that some of that riff-making ability winds its way into future Machine Head material. There's also still no word on who the band's new bassist will be, but I'd expect we'll hear about that soon in due course!
As for the new members' other bands? There's no word yet on whether Matt Alston has departed from Devilment, but Vogg has assured everyone that Decapitated will be working on their next album and be touring in 2020.
